Allow me to introduce myself.

 

My name is Teri Ann, a nickname given to me by my parents when I was a child.

 

I have always had a desire to become a children’s author. I can’t remember a time when I didn’t enjoy writing.

 

Spanning back to my days as an elementary school student, I remember a teacher once gave us a writing prompt and had us compose an imaginary story. That assignment enhanced my love for writing, and ever since, I have dabbled with putting pen to page.

 

Though my first published work is a faith based children’s book, my other interests in writing vary. From poetry, humor, short stories, inspiration and prose, you’ll find my works are pulled, based on experience, deep emotion, wonder, creativity, and my infinite love for The Lord, people, and the underdog, among other things.

 

I don’t think I “became” a writer. I believe God, upon creating me, designed me with the desire and ability to “paint word pictures.” I have been told that when people read my works, they find it easy to “see” vivid imagery and to feel what I feel.

 

These thoughts and remarks over the years only confirmed to me that maybe, just maybe, all those encouragers were right when they told me I should write a book.

 

So, here I am, launching a writing career in the “Autumn” of my life.

 

Observant ones will notice the hints of Autumn on this page for that reason.  It’s never too late to start something new…especially something you know you were created to do! After all, we wouldn’t know the beauty of the Fall if it were not for late blooming flowers and foliage. So….late bloomers of the world unite!
